Made exclusively for tough military use, they had a reinforced chassis, roll over protection, upgraded suspension and wheels all specifically to Mod specifications. A number of these Wolf derivatives, and we believe roughly 28 variations were specified, have now been decommissioned and found their way into enthusiasts’ hands. This example was specified from new as an FFR model i.e. Fitted for Radio. The communications equipment has of course since been removed. It is though as it left military service, and includes specialist equipment fitted to the bonnet as well as a snorkel (raised air intake) .
